Candlelight Dinner Playhouse Opens 4th Season with BIG RIVER 6/18-8/21

The Candlelight Dinner Playhouse is proud to present Broadway's 'Best Musical', Big River, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, June 18 through August 21, 2011.

Known for their quality family productions, the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse is presenting Big River free to children 5-12 with each full price adult ticket for the entire run of the show.

Winner of 7 Tony Awards including 'Best Book' and 'Best Music', Mark Twain's timeless classic sweeps the audience down the mighty Mississippi as the irrepressible Huck Finn helps his friend Jim, a slave, escape to freedom at the mouth of the Ohio River. Their adventures along the way are hilarious, suspenseful and heartwarming, bringing to life your favorite characters from the novel.

Propelled by an award-winning score by Roger Miller, the king of country music, and performed by a live 5-piece country band, Big River is a journey that provides a brilliant theatrical celebration of pure Americana that is suitable for the entire family.
