Candlelight Dinner Playhouse Hosts Auditions For SCROOGE! THE MUSICAL

The Candlelight Dinner Playhouse will be holding auditions for SCROOGE! THE MUSICAL on Monday, July 25, 2011 from 1pm to 7pm for adults (18+), and Tuesday, July 26, 2011 from 6pm to 8pm for children age 10-17 at the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse. Auditions are by appointment only and can be made by calling the Box Office at 970-744-3747 beginning July 12, 2011. Callbacks will be held starting at 6:00pm, Sunday July 31, 2011. Experienced singers, dancers and actors are needed. All roles except Ebenezer Scrooge are open. All roles are non-equity. All roles are paid. Children's roles include Tiny Tim (10-12yo), as well as several older Cratchit boys and girls. A small ensemble of children (12-17yo) is also needed. Children's roles may be double-cast.

Actors should bring headshot and resume and prepare 16 bars of and up tempo song and 16 bars of a ballad from the musical theater repertoire. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key. No acapella or recorded music. Rehearsals will begin approximately October 26th. SCROOGE! THE MUSICAL will open November 19, 2011 and run thru December 31, 2011. Performances are Thurs. thru Sat. nights and Sunday matinees. Additional performances have been added on select Wednesday evenings and Saturday matinees. This production will be directed by Peter F. Muller.

The Candlelight Dinner Playhouse is Colorado's newest and largest professional dinner theater. It is a multimillion dollar facility dedicated to using Colorado's finest talent.
