MADAME BUTTERFLY Beings at the Royal Theatre 5/26
MADAME BUTTERFLY is running at the Royal Theatre of Denmark through May 26 on the Opera House Main Stage.
MADAME BUTTERFLY follows the story of young Japanese girl Cio-Cio San as she falls in love with and marries American lieutenant B.F. Pinkerton. She has no reservations when he returns to America, but Pinkerton had other intentions. See MADAME BUTTERFLY for a tale of heartbreak and true love.
The tragic drama features set design from Christian Friedländer and costume design from Pernille Egeskov to create a simple, romanticized vision of the Far East.
This production is presented in Italian with Danish subtitles.
