CPH STAGE Will Return to Copenhagen in May
The event will run May 28 through June 6.
Copenhagen's biggest theatre festival, CPH STAGE, will return May 28 through June 6, 2026, offering audiences a sweeping look at contemporary Danish and international theatre. The festival, held across multiple venues in Copenhagen and Frederiksberg, promises a mix of innovative new plays, international touring hits and experimental performances — with something for seasoned theatre-goers as well as newcomers.
According to the festival’s organizers, the 2026 edition will include a varied program of performances ranging from dramatic works to monologues, and will feature ancillary events such as readings, debates and community-oriented gatherings.
Tickets for CPH STAGE are now on sale. Festival organizers note that attendees may choose individual performances or purchase a festival wristband — which offers access and discounts across multiple shows.
For full program listings and ticket purchase, prospective attendees are encouraged to visit the official CPH STAGE website or contact Copenhagen’s Visitor Service.
