Kinky Boots, winner of the Tony, Grammy, and Olivier Awards for Best Musical, runs June 9–21, 2026 at the James M. Nederlander Theatre. The show features a score by Cyndi Lauper, a book by Harvey Fierstein, and direction and choreography by Jerry Mitchell. Based on true events, it follows two people who seem to have nothing in common, only to discover that changing your mind can change the world. Audiences can also ride Metra free to and from the theatre on the date of their performance by showing their show ticket to the conductor.
