Even funnier than one of the Queen's corgis cutting a caper, Possum Point Players production of "See How They Run," is continuous action from curtain to curtain. The final performances will take place June 13, 14 and 15 at Possum Hall in Georgetown. The modern day farce illustrates what can happen if almost every man on stage is clothed in the cloth and pretending to be pious and most of the women are daft or drunk.

With recent airings on PBS via the BBC's "Hollow Crown" series and a screening of the RSC production with David Tennant and celebrations being held the world over for William Shakespeare's 450th Birthday, the Delaware-Pennsylvania region has seen a mini-renaissance of Shakespeare's Richard II. The Arden Shakespeare Gild celebrates with its own production of Richard II directed by Tanya Lazar. Local actor Greg Faber will play the title role in a cast featuring 19 actors.

The Clear Space Theatre Company is in rehearsal for their next production - the area premiere of Avenue Q. The show, which won the 2004 Tony award for Best Original Score and Best Musical, opens in Rehoboth Beach Friday, May 2, and plays through May 18. Avenue Q stars both human and puppet characters similar to those used on Sesame Street and The Muppets, but deals with adult themes such as finding a job, questioning your sexuality, wondering why you can't find a date, racism, the true reason for the internet and finding your purpose in life.

But in the spirit of Alfred Hitchcock, who directed the classic that inspired the show, there's a twist. The production features a cast of only four actors.
