The DuPont Theatre, Delaware's Broadway Experience, invites you to "Be Our Guest" for the 2010/2011 Broadway Series and the two shows of Broadway & Beyond. It's not the usual suspects as an eclectic and energetic line-up of shows, including six Wilmington premiers, storms onto the DuPont Theatre's historic stage this season. The DuPont Theatre's 98th Season continues to deliver Wilmington audiences a sampling of the best that Broadway has to offer with epic musicals and cutting-edge theatre.

The 2010/2011 Broadway Series opens with The Color Purple September 14-19. This soul-stirring musical is an inspiring & unforgettable story of a woman who, through love, summons the strength to triumph over adversity and find her true voice in the world. With a moving score featuring gospel, jazz, pop and the blues, this show is about hope and is a testament to the healing power of love. Oprah loved it - so will you!

Handel's Messiah Rocks really rocks in the holiday season December 7-12! With stunning visual effects and an amazing combination of musicians and musical styles, this show breathes new life into Handel's most performed oratorio Complete with an orchestra, rock band, renowned soloists and a local adult & children's choir, this inspiring and entertaining show creates a Handel's Messiah for every generation - THIS Handel's Messiah Rocks.

The sole revival on the series February 8-13, Grease is the word! The rock ‘n roll celebration of growing up, cruising with friends, and going steady, this updated version of the show features songs from the smash hit movie. Celebrate Valentine's Day with your squeeze as we check in with Sandy and Danny and the crew at Rydell High.

The Mel Brooks movie Young Frankenstein March 1-6 is a bona-fide MONSTER musical hit. Directed & choreographed by Delaware's Susan Stroman, this award-winning, wickedly inspired re-imagining of the Frankenstein legend follows bright young Dr. Frankenstein as he attempts to create a monster - but not without some scary and hilarious complications. Show-stopping numbers include "Transylvania Mania" and "Puttin' On the Ritz".

A combination of music, comedy and multi-media theatrics, Blue Man Group April 5-10 is a totally unique form of theatre. It's almost impossible to describe, but people of all ages agree that the Blue Man Group's show is an intensely exciting and wildly outrageous experience that leaves the entire audience in a blissful, euphoric state.

Beauty and the Beast May 10-15 is our first Disney show! This eye-popping spectacle has won the hearts of over 35 million people worldwide. It's a classic musical love story filled with unforgettable characters, lavish sets and costumes, and dazzling production numbers.
Broadway & Beyond features two non-traditional, non-subscription shows in one weekend runs for the theatrically adventurous.

Back by popular demand, RAIN: A Tribute to the Beatles Nov. 12-14 replicates the Fab Four's music on stage in a multi-media, multi-dimensional event.
The Aluminum Show Jan. 14-16 is a new performance combining movement, dance and visual theatre unique to the stage. Through the use of special effects, creative mechanisms and acrobatic dance, this Israeli troupe makes inanimate objects come to life with energy, emotion and even personality, as silver industrial materials create a luminous and reflective world.
