North American Premiere of THE WAR OF THE ROSES Opens Tonight
Delaware Theatre Company, the only theatre in the State of Delaware developing new works for Broadway, presents its opener THE WAR OF THE ROSES by Warren Adler, directed by Bud Martin. THE WAR OF THE ROSES opens tonight, September 17, 2016 at 8pm.
The dark comedy follows married couple Barbara and Jonathan Rose, who go from suburban bliss to a deadly territorial battle. The breakup of their marriage leads to the ugliest divorce imaginable, revealing chaos in unpredictable ways. The War of the Roses was originally published in 1981. The novel was adapted into a film in 1989, starring Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner.

The four leads are:
Christina DeCicco (Barbara Rose) - Broadway's EVITA and the First National Tour of WICKED
Cameron Folmar (Thurmont) - Broadway and Off'Broadway's THE 39 STEPS
Jack Noseworthy (Jonathan Rose) - Broadway's A CHORUS LINE and film's "Event Horizon"
Lenny Wolpe (Goldstein) - Broadway's THE DROWSY CHAPERONE and WICKED
In the ensemble are: Adam Altman, Eric Kramer, Brian McCann, Kerry Kristine McElrone and Karen Peakes.
Performances are held at DTC's intimate, 315- seat theatre, located at 200 Water Street in Wilmington, DE, just feet from the beautiful Riverfront.
