Possum Point Players Add 10/12 Show for Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

Possum Point Players have added an additional performance of "Disney's Beauty and the Beast" on Thursday, Oct. 12, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased online at possumpointplayers.org or at 302-856-4560.

There are some remaining tickets for regularly scheduled shows Oct. 6, 7, 13 and 14. Sunday matinees are sold out. Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m.

Those wishing to purchase tickets for the Oct. 12 added performance are urged to do so as quickly as possible. The added performance requires a minimum number of tickets to be sold.

As tickets are swept up, the Beast is grumpily settling into his two-story castle and Belle is innocently skipping about the simple Little Village where she lives with her eccentric inventor father. Little do they know what lies in store for them. Wolves hungrily wait in the forest and a singing, dancing set of cutlery and home furnishings impatiently wait for some way to turn a Beast into a Prince Charming.

"Disney's Beauty and the Beast" is appropriate for all ages who love a classic fairy tale and an evening of exciting theatre. Audience members are encouraged to come hungry. Fresh baked goods for snacking or carrying home will be available.
