Candlelight Comedy Club presents Doug Karpf, John Clark and James Royale at the New Candlelight Theatre, August 16, 2012.
Doug Karpf is a quick witted comedian, known for his rapid punch lines and hilarious improvisations. Much of his inspiration comes from being a father and husband living day to day in his native state of New Jersey.
Having mastered the skill of finding humor in everyday life, he brings an unmistakable charismatic presence to the stage that leaves viewers roaring with laughter and sharing with each other,“I know EXACTLY what he’s talking about!”. No matter his audience, he engages the crowd and always delivers laughs.
Doug Karpf performs at clubs across the country and has performed for the United States Armed Forces. Doug’s credits include Rascal’s, Caesar’s, Resorts, Catch a Rising Star, Broadway Comedy Club just to name a few.
Doug received ECNY Best Host Nomination for Emerging Comics of New York.
Also appearing will be comedian, John Clark. John Clark left the sunshine of his native California several years ago for New York City winters and a career in stand-up comedy -- and he's never looked back!
His combination of smart, original material and a commanding stage presence have made him an audience favorite across New York City and the tri-state area.
Drawing on hilarious stories gathered from his everyday life and a cracked way of looking at the world, John will leave you laughing and asking for more!
The headlining host will be James Royale. No stranger to headlining himself, James Royale is a hilarious comedian that will take center stage this August to host a night of 1000 laughs and give you the real "Royale Experience"
