Dayton Ohio's longest tradition of producing new works is back again at Dayton Plahouse! Playwrights from all over the county gather in Dayton to present staged readings of their original scripts for one weekend only. Local directors, actors, and crew members work together to bring these pieces to life as the adjuticators announce one play as the winner. Previous winners include the 2005 winner "Farrugut North" which was addapted into the 2011 George Clooney film, "The Ides of March" and last years winner, "The Cure" which went on to be fully staged and produced as part of the playhouse's 24/25 season. Individual tickets and weekend passes are available for purchase.
