Mykee Fowlin Gives A Presentation That Takes a Look At What Dayton Is and Can Be 9/24 at the Benjamin and Marian Schuster PAC

By:

Victoria Theatre Association in partnership with the National Conference on Community and Justice of Greater Dayton present actor, psychologist and poet, Mykee Fowlin in a seriously fun presentation that takes a look a what Dayton is and can be, Thursday, September 24 at 5:00 PM at the Benjamin and Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center.

"Dr. Fowlin promises to provide a great evening that will get us all thinking - and laughing!" says Ken Neufeld, President & CEO of Victoria Theatre Association and the Arts Center Foundation. "We are excited to play our part by hosting this Business-to-Business event with NCCJ, along with support of our friends at the Downtown Dayton Partnership and the Greater Dayton Chamber of Commerce."

With a dangerous combination of professional acting ability and psychological training, Mykee Fowlin has made it his mission to "shake things up" while creating an atmosphere of inclusion, not just tolerance, for all people. In a gripping, fast-paced performance, Dr. Fowlin slips in and out of multiple characters who share their stories in a way that can change the audiences perspective. The result? Dayton business people will leave this event with a renewed optimism for Dayton's future-and a keen sense of the way Daytonians are the same and the ways we are different.

On Thursday, September 24, the evening will begin in the Wintergarden at the Schuster Center with a 5:00 PM networking and socializing time, including a cash bar and free hors d'oeuvres. Dr. Fowlin's performance begins at 5:45 PM on the Dayton Power & Light Company Foundation stage. The Schuster Center is located on the corner of Second and Main Streets in downtown Dayton.

While no tickets will be issued, seating is limited. Reservations can be made by calling Ryan Pasco at 228-7591 ext.3018 or by emailing him at ryan.pasco@victoriatheatre.com. The reservation deadline is September 21.
