About this studio
Up With Kids is a non-profit children's musical theatre program for performers aged 4 to 15, operating out of more than twenty locations along Utah's Wasatch Front, including Salt Lake City area sites in Cottonwood Heights, Millcreek, Midvale, Sandy, Draper, South Jordan, Riverton, West Jordan, Taylorsville and Kearns, as well as St. George and Park City. Students meet once a week for an hour and receive lessons in singing, acting and dancing, learn musical numbers and are each given a speaking part in the season's production; the current show is an adaptation of Moana. The program describes its aim as providing a fun and inclusive environment where children can explore creativity, build confidence and social skills, and discover their own voice. Enrollment at each location is limited.
