City Center Ballet

City Center Ballet is a non-profit classical ballet company based in Lebanon, New Hampshire, established in 1999 with the stated aim of inspiring dancers and enriching communities through dance. It is more a performing company than a conventional studio: it brings together local middle and high school dance students with international guest artists, pairing young dancers with professional performers so that students work to professional standards of preparation, etiquette and performance. Its mission is to develop the full potential of ballet dancers through training in classical ballet and performance opportunities alongside professionals, and to build wider appreciation for classical ballet in the community. The organization also awards dance scholarships of $250 to $2,500 to Upper Valley students aged 8 to 18 in New Hampshire and Vermont, usable towards tuition at any dance program and any style of dance. It performs at the Lebanon Opera House and works alongside the Lebanon Ballet School.
