Boston Dance Theater Inc

Boston Dance Theater (BDT) is a contemporary dance repertory company based in the Boston area, co-directed by Jessie Jeanne Stinnett and Israeli-born choreographer Itzik Galili. Its main work is creating and touring repertory, including film and site-specific pieces, but it also runs public education programming. Company members teach a public class series at the Mosesian Center for the Arts in Watertown, running in four-week sessions: BDT Pro Lab, an advanced/professional morning class for ages 18+ rotating through contemporary technique, floorwork, partnering and repertory; Full Body Practice: Groove + Strength, a beginner-to-intermediate movement class for ages 16+; and Fitness & Mindful Movement, an open-level class for 16+ combining vinyasa-inspired conditioning with gentle yoga, breathwork and meditation. Single classes are $20 or $80 for a four-week series. BDT also runs a Trainee Program, a Winter Immersion Project and a Teen Immersion Project.
