WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced the cast for the holiday musical, The Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical with music and lyrics by David Nehls and book by Betsy Kelso, running December 5, 2014 - January 4, 2015 at the Addison Theatre Centre. The ensemble cast stars Amanda Passanante as Darlene Seward, Tony Daussat as Rufus Jeter, Greg Hullett as Jackson Boudreaux, Sara Shelby-Martin as Betty, Cara Serber as Linoleum, and Megan Kelly Bates as Pickles. Making their WaterTower Theatre stage debuts in The Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical will be Greg Hullett and Amanda Passanante. Sara Shelby-Martin, Cara Serber, and Megan Kelly Bates reprise their roles as Betty, Linoleum and Pickles, respectively, having starred in the original The Great American Trailer Park Musical at WaterTower Theatre in 2007.
The creative team for The Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical is led by Director James Paul Lemons. The team includes Mark Mullino as Music Director, Rodney Dobbs as Set Designer, Derek Whitener as Costume Designer, Scott Guenther as Lighting Designer,Kellen Voss as Sound Designer, and Hannah Law as Properties Designer. Caron Gitelman Grant is the Stage Manager and Kristin Van Sickle is the Assistant Stage Manager.
Like its predecessor, this companion piece to The Great American Trailer Park Musical features Music and Lyrics by David Nehls and Book by Betsy Kelso. The Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical premiered at Stages Repertory Theatre in Houston, Texas, on November 15, 2013.
Those crazy characters from Armadillo Acres, North Florida's premier mobile living community, are back this holiday season! Everyone's filled with warmth and beer, but when a freak bout of amnesia strikes Darlene, the trailer park Scrooge, neighborly love is put to the test.
