Performing Arts Fort Worth Adds Lyle Lovett, Imagination Movers To Season

By:

Performing Arts Fort Worth has announced three additions to its 2011-2012 Performing Arts Fort Worth season at Bass Performance Hall. Added to the BNSF Popular Entertainment Series: Lyle Lovett and His Acoustic Group on December 20 and Imagination Movers on March 10. Ailey II joins PAFW's Special Attractions lineup on February 20. Tickets for these shows will go on sale at 10:00 a.m. THIS Saturday, November 5.

Since Bass Hall opened in 1998, Texas singer-songwriter Lyle Lovett has performed here with His Large Band. This year, for one night only, he's bringing along his exciting new Acoustic Group, which will include past and present members of His Large Band. Fans will hear Lovett's songs like they've never heard them before on Tuesday, December 20, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $44.

Ailey II is the acclaimed younger arm of dance ensemble Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Members of the 12-person group hail from various parts of the world, from Chicago to Tokyo. Ailey II will make its Bass Hall debut on Monday, February 20, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $22.
The Emmy Award-winning Imagination Movers make a triumphant return to the Hall with two shows on Saturday, March 10, at 1 and 5 p.m. Stars of their own self-titled Disney Junior TV show, the Imagination Movers play and write rock ‘n roll children's songs. The New Orleans-based quartet has sold close to half a million CDs and DVDs, thanks to the popularity of songs like "Bounce" and "Up, Up, Up." Tickets start at $18.70.

To charge tickets by phone, call (817) 212-4280 in Fort Worth; 1-877-212-4280 (toll free) outside Fort Worth; or order online at www.basshall.com.
