Full of the clever and intricate dialogue that makes his work remarkable and popular, Michael Hollinger's Under the Skin is the second show in Circle Theatre's anniversary season. This funny and moving new play asks the question: what does it really mean to give a part of yourself to someone else? Previous Circle productions by Mr. Hollinger include: Incorruptible (2009); Opus (2010); Ghost-Writer (2012); and Hope & Gravity (2014). Mr. Hollinger will travel to Fort Worth to attend the final matinee preview and opening night performances of Under the Skin.

"Since plays can easily travel without their playwrights, it's a wonderful thing to develop an actual relationship with a theatre over the course of many years. So it is with me and Circle Theatre, which has produced striking productions of my plays Hope and Gravity, Ghost-Writer, Incorruptible and Opus. Ft. Worth audiences who have come to know my work through these will recognize in Under the Skin my love of "ha-ha-ouch" - comedy that strives to both release laughter and also reveal sometimes-uncomfortable truths about human nature." -Michael Hollinger (Playwright)

Circle's production is directed by Alan Shorter and features Stormi Demerson* (Marlene Hayes), Mark Fickert* (Lou Ziegler), Sam Henderson* (Jarrell Hayes), and Alexandra Lawrence (Raina Lamott).

Under the Skin is sponsored by Circle Theatre's board of directors.

Circle Theatre's production team members include Megan Beddingfield* (Stage Manager), Clare Floyd DeVries (Set Design), John Leach (Lighting Design), David H.M. Lambert (Sound Design), Sarah Tonemah (Costume Design) and Kyle Montgomery** (Props Design).
