THE WEDDING SINGER, opens on June 29 at Garden Grove's historic GEM THEATRE presented by the award-winning One More Productions - one of Southern California's leading musical theater companies.

It's 1985 and rock star wannabe, Robbie Hart, is New Jersey's favorite wedding singer. He's the life of the party until his own fiancee leaves him at the altar. Shot through the heart, Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own.

Enter Julia, a winsome waitress who wins his affection. As luck would have it, Julia is about to be married to a Wall Street shark, and unless Robbie can pull off the performance of a decade, the girl of his dreams will be gone forever.

This musical takes you back to a time when hair was big, greed was good, collars were up and a wedding singer might just be the coolest guy in the room. Based on the hit Adam Sandler movie, THE WEDDING SINGER is full of heart and 80's fun!

THE WEDDING SINGER is directed by Damien Lorton and based on a book by Tim Herlihy. The cast includes: Edgar Andrew Torrens as Robbie Hart, Hannah Clair as Julia Sullivan, Lawrence Havelka as Glen Guglia, Shannon Culter as Rosie, Peter Crisafulli as George, Nicole Cassesso as Holly, Brianna Garmon as Linda, and Tim Milller as Sammy. The performance is backed by a live 7-piece band.

Performances: June 29 thru July 23. Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 8 pm, Sundays at 2 pm, and July 15 (Saturday) at 2 pm. To purchase tickets: www.onemoreproductions.com or call 714-741-9550 x 221.
