The Chicago Symphony Orchestra returns for its 90th anniversary residency at the Ravinia Festival from July 11 to August 16, 2026. Under the direction of Chief Conductor Marin Alsop, the orchestra will feature an exciting lineup including performances of Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G major with soloist Yunchan Lim and the Midwest premiere of Good News Mass by Carlos Simon. Notable guest artists include Lizzo, who will perform as a flutist, and acclaimed soloists such as Emanuel Ax and Daniel Lozakovich. The season promises a diverse range of classical works and contemporary compositions, showcasing the orchestra’s esteemed artistry.
