Registration for the Young Actor Training Program is now open. Kathleen Doherty returns as Teaching Artist for all four classes starting on March 23. The Young Actor Training Program at Playhouse on Park offers acting classes for students in Grades K-5 focused on developing strong acting technique. Students learn to use their voices and bodies onstage, connect to an emotion, create characters and work as an ensemble, all at an age-appropriate level. We create a comfortable and professional environment that allows students to explore their creativity in a controlled setting. Classes conclude with a final showcase.

Previously, she worked as a Theatre Camp Coordinator for the YMCA in her home state of Massachusetts and is very passionate about introducing the world of theatre to children and young adults.
