Westport Country Playhouse Offers SUMMER IN THE HOUSE 7/6-7/24

Summer in the House is a 3-week program from July 6-July 24, 2009 (Monday-Friday) designed for students entering grades 2 through 5 through the Westport Country Playhouse Education Department. They also offer a three-day Improvisation Bootcamp for ages sixteen and up. Need-based scholarships are available. Call 203.227.5137 x116 for details.

Summer is a great time to explore the arts and stretch your artistic wings. Each camp is staffed with artist-educators who are professionals in their field and are dedicated to nurturing creativity in each student. Through fun and enriching activities, students learn to use their bodies, voices, minds and imaginations. Students gain both performing and life-long skills in our programs such as teamwork, active listening and creativity.

Geared towards beginners and experienced performers alike, think faster, make strong choices and increase your confidence through the art of improvisational theatre. A three-day intensive workshop.
