Tribute to John Denver Returns to Downtown Cabaret Theatre October 26

Tribute to John Denver featuring Ted Vigil with special guest STEVE WEISBERG, John Denver's lead guitar player during all of his big touring years, returns to Bridgeport's DOWNTOWN CABARET THEATRE for Two Performances ONLY on Saturday, October 26 at 5:30pm and8:30pm. The Downtown Cabaret Theatre is located at 263 Golden Hill Street in downtown Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Ted Vigil has been performing his Tribute to John Denver since 2006 playing throughout the United States and even performed with the Nashville Navy! The most often heard comment after one of his performances is, "I can't believe how much he looks and sounds like John Denver...it really took us back!"

Vigil has always had a love of music and has been performing since the age of ten. In 1990 he began writing, recording and performing his original compositions. Then in 2006 Vigil won the national title for "Talent Quest" in Laughlin, Nevada, a competition involving 28 states, New Zealand, Australia, and Canada taking first place and went on to win KOMO TV's Celebrity Look-Alike Contest.

In just a short time Ted Vigil has evolved into a national act. He performs all over the country at casinos, show rooms, night clubs, fraternal clubs, private parties, fairs and festivals. Last year Vigil appeared at the John Denver Festival, The CMA Fan Fair Festival in Nashville and the Travelin' Inc. Country Cruise among many other venues.

In 2010 Vigil performed with John Denver's Lead guitarist Steve Weisberg and Eddie Kilgallon, keyboard player for the award winning bands "Ricochet" and "Montgomery Gentry". Afterwards, Vigil had the incredible opportunity to get together again with Kilgallon to write a couple of great songs that they've since recorded on their cd project "Sing My Songs" recorded in Nashville.

Vigil shares his passion for bringing people together with his music as well as drawing in audiences of all ages.

As a performer, Ted Vigil has been featured on Northwest Afternoon, Evening Magazine, Headline Country and Country Weekly. His gift for music plus his polished and energetic performing style have earned him many dedicated fans.
