Treehouse Comedy Productions Offers $12,000 Prize in FUNNIEST COMIC IN NEW ENGLAND Contest

Treehouse Comedy Productions in conjunction with Mohegan Sun are both proud to announce our 2014 dates for the 4th Annual Funniest Comic in New England Contest. The Contest is scheduled to play at the Cabaret Theatre at Mohegan Sun on consecutive Fridays and Saturdays on October 10-11, 17-18 and 24-25. There will be two shows per night, in two different categories, for both a Newcomer and a Pro Division. In the past the contest has been restricted solely to comics with ties to Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts. Not anymore. Comics from New Jersey and New York are now also eligible to compete.

Comics can enter by going to TreehouseComedy.com and clicking on the Contest menu. Comics are required to read and agree on the rules and then fill out the entry form on the website. Comics can submit a video link or send a dvd submission. Weekly live auditions are currently being held in Danbury, Ct. with additional auditions and regional competitions are being held in affiliated contest Comedy Clubs and Theatres in Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, New York and New Jersey.
