Theatreworks USA's PETE THE CAT to Jam Out at Ridgefield Playhouse

For Pete's sake - don't miss Pete the Cat! Join Jimmy and the hilarious blue cat, Pete, on a new adventure of friendship, all the way to Paris and back again in a VW bus. Pete the Cat never loses his cool. Jimmy Biddle never strays from his routine. Can cat and boy ever be friends? Fun songs and bright costumes keep the little ones engaged - this is the perfect show to introduce kids to live theater!

The Ridgefield Playhouse and Ridgefield Academy Family Series presents the Theatreworks USA production of Pete the Cat at on Saturday, October 1 with performances at 11am and 2pm.

This rockin' and finger-snapping production is partially underwritten by Books on the Common, South Salem Animal Hospital and Noah's Ark Animal Hospital. Bring your book and have it signed by Pete and Jimmy in the lobby after the show!

As with all Ridgefield Academy Family Series performances - visit Dimitri's Diner (16 Prospect Street, Ridgefield) before or after the show and receive 10% off your meal when tickets are presented! Media sponsors for this show are Macaroni Kid Danbury-Bethel-Ridgefield and Danbury's 98Q.

As part of The Ridgefield Playhouse Arts for Everyone program, which helps make the performing arts available to economically disadvantaged residents of Fairfield County who cannot afford the cost of admission, even at reduced rates, the Union Savings Bank Arts for Everyone recipient is Waterbury ARC. The Playhouse was founded in the belief that arts can and do make a difference in the lives of people, and that accessibility to the arts should not be limited by one's ability to pay. Arts for Everyone works with a wide range of non-profit organizations including ABC, Ability Beyond Disability, Danbury Youth Services, Family and Children's Aid, Grassroots Tennis, Mental Health Associates of CT and the Out and About Club. Your donation helps provide tickets and transportation to The Playhouse.
