The Wilton Playshop will open its subscription season on October 29th with the blockbuster production of award-winning musical Urinetown.

This hilarious tale of greed, corruption, love and revolution set a new standard for the Broadway musical when it debuted nearly 10 years ago. With music and lyrics by Mark Hollmann, lyrics and book by Greg Kotis, The Wilton Playshop production will be directed by Stacie Moye, with musical direction by Anna DeMasi and choreography by Marjorie Janeway.

Praised for reinvigorating the very notion of what a musical could be, Urinetown catapults the "comedic romp" into the new millennium with its outrageous perspective, wickedly modern wit, and sustained ability to produce gales of unbridled laughter.

Performances can be seen Friday and Saturday, October 29 and 30 at 8 PM, Sunday, October 31 at 2 PM. Friday and Saturday, 5 and 6 at 8 PM, Sunday, November 7 at 2 PM and Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 10, 11 and12 at 8 PM.

Reservations can be made online at Tickets at Wilton Playshop
Subscriptions to The Wilton Playshop season can also be made online. In addition to Urinetown, The Playshop's regular season will feature The Shadow Box in January and Blithe Spirit in June.
