The Main Street Kids' Club Comes to Playhouse on Park for Young Audiences Season

Playhouse on Park kicks off its Young Audiences season with The Main Street Kids' Club: A MathStart Musical! Inspired by the award-winning book series by Stuart J. Murphy, this tale of adventure, friendship and math was written by the amazingly talenTEd Scott Ferguson ("Schoolhouse Rock Live!") with a toe-tapping score by Michael Mahler. The Main Street Kids' Club (aka M.S.K.C), a cool kids' club that follows the motto, "Math skills = Life skills!" Toby, the "new kid in town," desperately wants to join. When he finds a 50-year-old treasure map, he sees a chance to prove himself. With stories that focus on a different mathematical concept, this musical promises to be educational and entertaining for all ages!

The Main Street Kids' Club: A MathStart Musical runs November 16th through November 24th. Performances will be at 1 pm and 4 pm Saturdays and Sundays, and at 10 am and 2:30 pm Wednesday, November 20th. The performance is about 45 minutes long and although appropriate for all ages, it is geared towards children in grades pre-K through 4. There will be a chance to meet the cast after each performance. Tickets are priced at $15 for adults, $13 for children, seniors and Let's Go Arts! members.
