Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol is no adaptation, but rather the original story by Dickens – as abridged by the author himself for public readings. An ode to Christmas past, Timothy Deenihan's one man dramatic version offers a solo equivalent of an expansive cast, dense with character. When told in the wondrously intimate venue of The Bijou Theatre, Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol transports the audience to a place without their technology – indeed, to a place without even the technical wizardry of modern theatre – and allows them to become not only audience to storytelling at its best, but part of the very story itself! The show promises to be a wonderful celebration of the warm power of humanity and the magic of imagination – the very spirit of the season itself!

Timothy Deenihan is a classically trained actor (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London) best known in the United Kingdom for his work in the tv series, Brookside. He has appeared in numerous film, television, and stage roles both in the UK as well as here in the States. His stage credits proudly reveal work at theatres throughout the UK as well as New York and the American northeast region where he now resides.

True to its heritage, over 100 years later, one of the oldest buildings used as a movie house in the country, is now poised for a revival. The Bijou Theatre is a multi–functional venue with integrity and an open minded philosophy. A symposium for film, theatre, art, comedy and music.
