"Celebrating THE STING & the Gang" will gather friends for some big screen fun to celebrate the work of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp and honor Camp founder Paul Newman. The festivities will kick-off with highlights of Camp's growing services that in 2012 will touch more than 20,000 children, followed by a screening of THE STING. This event will take place on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 7pm with tickets priced at $100. A portion of each ticket purchase is tax-deductible. Additionally, sponsorship packages are available.

THE STING is the classic 1973 movie starring Paul Newman, Robert Redford, and Robert Shaw which won 7 Academy Awards and whose music gave Scott Joplin a renewed career, redefining how the country viewed America during the Great Depression. Set in 1930s Chicago, THE STING tells the story of a young con man seeking revenge for his murdered partner who teams up with a master of the big con to win a fortune from a criminal banker.

Founded by Paul Newman in 1988, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is a nonprofit, residential summer camp and year-round center in Ashford, Connecticut serving children and families coping with cancer and other serious illnesses and conditions. In addition to its signature summer camping experience, the Camp offers programs from fall through spring for campers, their families and healthcare professionals. Through the year-round Hole in the Wall Gang Camp Hospital Outreach Program, Outreach Specialists bring the joy and healing of Camp right to the bedsides of seriously ill children in hospitals throughout the Northeast. All of the Camp's services are provided free of charge. It is through the generosity of many friends that the programs of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp are made possible.
