The Warner Theatre Center for Arts Education's Performance Lab students will present Crimes of the Heart at the Warner's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre on Saturday, January 14 at 8pm and Sunday, January 15 at 2pm.

Winner of the New York Drama Critic's Circle "Best American Play", the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Theatre World Award, Beth Henley's Crimes of the Heart is a deeply touching dark comedy about three eccentric sisters from a small Southern town who reunite during a time of family tragedy and scandal.

At the core of the tragic comedy are the three Magrath sisters, Meg (played by Isabella Panagakos), Babe (Alia Miller), and Lenny (Rachael Traub), who reunite at Old Granddaddy's home in Hazlehurst, Mississippi after Babe shoots her abusive husband. The reunion forces the sisters to face the consequences of their dysfunctional past and the "crimes of the heart" that each has committed. The Warner Theatre Center for Arts Education's cast also includes: Majerli Becker as Chick, Zach Roberts as Barnett Lloyd and Noah Maestre as Doc Porter.

This performance is part of the Young Actors Series and will be directed by the Warner Theatre Center for Arts Education's Director, Isabel Carrington. Tickets are $12.50 and can be purchased by calling the Warner box office at 860-489-7180 or online at www.warnertheatre.org.
