Ridgefield Theater Barn Hosts 'Holiday Piano Bar...n' Event This Weekend
The holidays put almost everyone in the mood to sing. You find yourself singing along to carols on the radio, or just randomly humming a few bars of Jingle Bells. So the Ridgefield Theater Barn has decided to adapt their wildly popular Piano Bar...n event in a special holiday offering! If you've been to the annual April event, you know it's a wickedly entertaining evening filled with live music, talented performers and good company where you may even be shaken out of your comfort zone to hop on the stage yourself. (Don't worry, they won't force you). All that and more await you December 13th & 14th at 8pm, when the Theater Barn brings the Manhattan club scene to Ridgefield, this time with a holiday theme.
In the spirit of the season and sharing, we'd like to spread some holiday cheer by encouraging donations to the Ridgefield Food Pantry. Let's lift some worries from those less fortunate this holiday season, while keeping it festive and fun. Bring along a donation (see suggested list on our website) and we'll give you a glass of wine to enjoy along with the music! In the jovial Piano Bar...n atmosphere, you'll be feeling good and doing good.
With the superb accompaniment of pianist Tom Morris, invited singers will offer up their favorites while encouraging the audience to sing songs almost everyone knows by heart. If you delight in good music and unpredictable laughter, you will have a wonderful time. And if the mood strikes, you'll be given the chance to take the stage yourself!
The show starts at 8pm and tickets are $25. Cabaret seating; doors open one hour prior to curtain. The Ridgefield Theater Barn is located at 37 Halpin Lane. Reservations can be made at www.ridgefieldtheaterbarn.org.
