Playhouse on Park Announces Young Actor Training Programs for Kindergarten - 5th Graders
You're never too young to take the stage and at Playhouse on Park, children and pre-teens ranging from Kindergarten-aged to 5th grade can discover their inner performer in theatre classes to be offered this summer.
Through a variety of group games, activities, and learning exercises, your young actor will learn how to create characters using their voices and bodies and develop the basic skills needed to bring them to life for friends, family, or an audience.
Classes are to be led by Playhouse on Park Director of Education, Dawn Loveland, and run two-hours a day, every day for 2 weeks beginning July 1st (with an additional K-2nd grade session beginning July 29th). Times vary depending on the age group. Classes are also available for students in grades 6th-8.
