Milford Arts Council Seeks Artists For Figurative Exhibit: Go Figure

Milford Arts Council, the MAC and Coastal Arts Guild of Connecticut are calling artists to enter a juried figurative exhibit of 2- and 3-dimensional original artwork. This exhibit will run from January 17th through February 10th with an opening reception on Thursday, January 17th 5:30-7pm at the MAC Firehouse Gallery, 81 Naugatuck Avenue, Milford CT. There will be cash awards for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place presented at the reception.

This juried exhibit asks artists to explore, interpret and draw inspiration from the human body. All media is welcome. All work must be original and not previously exhibited at the MAC or Firehouse Gallery. Two-dimensional works must be framed and wired for hanging. No exceptions.

Submissions will be received digitally at https://www.coastalartsguildct.com/go-figure-at-the-firehouse-gallery.

Deadline for digital submissions is Midnight January 3.

In person submissions can be made by bringing your work(s) to the Firehouse Gallery 81 Naugatuck Avenue Walnut Beach Milford CT by January 3rd from 2:00 - 7:00 PM.

Framed dimensions: 24" x 36" (maximum size) One larger/single submission is optional

Non-refundable jury fee: $10

Submission fee: $25/one or $35/two

Members of MAC & Coastal Arts Guild of CT $5 off

The Coastal Arts Guild of CT, based in Stratford, is a regional organization, welcoming artists, organizational and business partners to join us. They represent painters, sculptors, photographers, musicians, artisans, writers and patrons who support each other in their work and who love to collaborate on community-oriented arts projects.
