Music Theatre of Connecticut School of the Performing Arts presents "Disney's High School Musical 2," a fully staged and costumed production performed by MTC School of Performing Arts students, ages seven and up. Performances take place Friday, August 6 at 7:30pm and Saturday, August 7 at 1pm at Coleytown Middle School, 255 North Avenue in Westport, CT. Tickets are $12-$20, and reservations are suggested. The gang's all here for an action-packed summer extravaganza as Troy, Gabriella and the rest of the Wildcats finish junior year and blast onto the summer scene. At the Lava Springs Country Club, Sharpay reigns supreme while the Wildcats get to work - literally! Keeping every ounce of the light-hearted fun that makes "High School Musical" a household name, this buoyant sequel takes on the questions of real kids facing the realities of the adult world. Friendships are tested, summer romances go haywire and the meaning of success is redefined.

The musical is a fully staged and costumed production performed by MTC students, ages seven and up.
