MODERN FAMILY's Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet Set for Bushnell Center Tonight, 10/21

Two of the stars from the highly-acclaimed ABC television show Modern Family will be appearing at The Bushnell Center for the Performing Artson tonight, October 21 at 7 p.m. Tickets ($35.50/$45.50/$55.50) go on-sale Monday, July 30 at 10 a.m. at bushnell.org, 1.860.987.5900, or at The Bushnell Box Office. A limited number of VIP tickets that include a meet and greet are available for $120. The show is part of the Bank of America Showcase Series.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson (“Mitch”) and Eric Stonestreet (“Cameron”) provide an intimate glimpse into the happenings behind-the-scenes of Modern Family, as well as an extensive Q & A with the audience. Described by Jesse Tyler Ferguson as similar to “us being in your living room”, the interactive evening is the ultimate fan experience

Jesse and Eric’s portrayal of a gay couple has helped establish them as a role model for gay couples nationwide. Their portrayal led to Modern Family receiving a GLSEN Respect Award for "positive images and storylines that reflect a diverse America, including the depiction of a family headed by a gay couple." Television viewers from all backgrounds can identify with the various characters of the show, and their tumultuous, complicated, and comedic relationships.

Modern Family has received impressive accolades including a Golden Globe Award, multiple Emmy Awards, and a Screen Actors Guild Award. Eric Stonestreet is also the recipient of an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.

Fans will have the unique opportunity to get to know another side of “Mitch and Cameron,” with stories shared for the first time in front of a live audience. The show will be moderated by Christine Lee, a member of the top-rated morning show Craig & Company, on 96.5 WTIC.
