Kidz Konnection to Present Inaugural Show INTO THE WOODS at The Academy Building ImageSondheim's Into the Woods comes to Clinton, CT, December 9th-10th. It is the inaugural show for Kidz Konnection, Shoreline Theater Academy's new space, The Academy Building.

Kidz Konnection has been not only been a staple of the town of Clinton but also of the Connecticut community theater scene for over 10 years. When Laura Attanasio (Clinton) the founder of Kidz Konnection started the company she never imagined her company would grow so much. More than a decade later they have grown into an amazing theater company that puts the actors needs first and focuses on community.

The company is now making its big move into a new location. The historical Academy building in Clinton will be their new home, and what a better way to kick off theater companies move then with a show.

Into the Woods is made up of members of the Shoreline Actors Collective which is one of the many programs that are a part of this theater company. SACtors, as they fondly call it, is an advanced acting troupe that is made up of actors 13-year-olds and older.

This talented cast of Connecticut's best young performers, also nominated for Broadway World awards includes Ciro Falanga (Clinton) as the Baker, Emmy Skiles (Old Saybrook), Bakers wife, Sam Reed (Clinton) as Jack, Dylan Ayer (Clinton) the Mysterious Man/ Florinda, Maddie Fay (Clinton) Cinderella (Clinton) Ezra VanYperen (Deep River) Cinderella's Prince, Devin Wilke ( Clinton) as Lucinda, Will Curry (Clinton) Rapunzel's Prince, Megan Hamton (Old Saybrook) as Rapunzel/Cinderella's Mother/Granny, Kiara Lopez (Clinton) as Jacks Mother and Abigail Ingalls (Norwalk) as the Witch; with Dan Ayotte (Clinton) as the Wolf. Other cast members include Sara Gaetano (Little Red), Johnny Isaac (Cinderella's Father/Steward), Emalena Preveza (The Stepmother), and Maggie Maselli (Narrator).

The show is directed and choreographed by Maria Teresa Lonetti (New Haven) and she is so excited to see this talented group of young actors perform this amazing musical.

The show will be presented in an intimate black box setting which will bring audiences literally Into the Woods with the cast. Into the Woods is the second of seven shows in their season.
