John Tesh's Big Band Christmas Set for Ridgefield Playhouse on December 21

Consummate entertainer John Tesh and his Big Band Orchestra will be "swinging" into town for "a Merry Little Christmas"! on Saturday, December 21, at 8 p.m. at The Ridgefield Playhouse. John along with fourteen performers will play favorite holiday tunes in the big band style, treat the audience to piano solos and charm with his engaging rapport. This holiday event is partially underwritten by Adam Broderick Salon and Spa and is part of the Ridgefield Magazine Broadway and Cabaret Series?with media sponsor WEBE 108 fm. For dinner-and-a-show, Bernard's (22 West Lane, Ridgefield) is offering a $45 special prix-fixe dinner when tickets are presented; reservations suggested.

With three gold albums, two Grammy nominations, and the nationally syndicated "John Tesh Radio Show", John is known worldwide as a leading figure in the entertainment industry as a pianist, composer, radio host, television presenter and sportscaster. The John Tesh Big Band Christmas CD and national concert tour are annual favorites. John's bigger than life personality shines on stage with his stories, humor and occasional life-enhancing tips from his "Intelligence For Your Life" radio show, which is syndicated on more than 400 radio stations in North America and the United Kingdom. Tesh has earned six music Emmys, four gold albums, two Grammy nominations and an Associated Press award for investigative journalism. John Tesh has sold more than eight million records and is known as the longtime co-host of the television program Entertainment Tonight.
