The Hartt School's Theatre Division presents The Tragedy of Julius Caesar through Sunday, May 9, at 2:00 PM. The Tragedy of Julius Caesar is a swift and riveting political thriller where the life-and-death struggle for power in ancient Rome comes alive through an enthralling story of ruthless ambition, violent conflict, and chilling intrigue. One of Shakespeare's most revered plays, Julius Caesar has a cautionary resonance in the political and social dilemmas that haunt us today.The show features third year actor training students including Jessica Horness, of Midland, MI, as Julius Caesar; Gabrielle Van Horn, of Freedom, ME, as Brutus; Michael Gregory, of Collingswood, NJ, as Cassius; Timothy Zayas, of Orlando, FL , as Antony.
