Winner of seven Tony Awards, the New York Drama Critics Circle award, and the 1962 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, is a brilliant satire of the world of Big Business as seen through the eyes of J. Pierrepont Finch, a disarming young man looking for an easy way to get to the top. The play takes on nepotism, old-school loyalty, and yes-men, in a perfect send-up of the mores and morals of corporate life and the thirst for success. The show is directed by Associate Professor of Theatre Diana Moller-Marino, with music direction by Michael Morris and choreography by Ralph Perkins.

The original production of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying in 1961 featured Hartt alumnus Charles Nelson Reilly in the role of Bud Frump and ran for 1,417 performances and the 1995 revival ran for 548 performances.
