The Hartt School Community Division Dance Department presents the 2011 Spring Festival on Saturday, June 18, at 7:00 PM, and Sunday, June 19, at 2:00 PM, in Millard Auditorium, University of Hartford, 200 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford. Admission is $30 for limited premium seating; regular seating is $20 for adults, and $15 for seniors and children 14 and under. Come see how Hartt celebrates Ballet, Modern, and Jazz with this end of the year dance performance, featuring the talented members of the Community Division's Pre-Professional/Intensive Program and "rising stars" of the Children's Ballet Program. This performance honors The Hartt School's 90 year history (Hartt was founded in 1920) with a 1920's themed program.

Music for the Spring Dance Festival includes "Gavotte Pavlova" composed by Paul Lincke (also known as "Glow Little Glow-Worm"); "Christmas" by Tchaikovsky; "Autumn Baccanale" by Alexander Glazunov; and "Golden Jazz" by Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald.

The Hartt School Community Division of the University of Hartford is a comprehensive community arts school providing instruction in music and dance for individuals of all ages and experience levels.
