HARTFORD CHILDREN'S THEATRE (360 Farmington Avenue, Hartford, CT) announces General Season Auditions for the 2011-2012 Family Main Stage Series and HCT on the Road. Season auditions will be held by appointment only at HCT's Carriage House Theatre on Wednesday, June 22 from 6 - 9 pm and Saturday, June 25 from 11 am - 3 pm.

The 2011-2012
Season includes Hairspray, Little Women the Musical, Peter Pan, Pinkalicious the Musical and Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing. Roles are available for adult and youth (age 8 and up) performers. Stipends are available.

Casting for all Main Stage and HCT on the Road productions will be done through these General Season Auditions. Call Back Auditions will be held throughout the season. HCT produces three large-scale Main Stage productions and two touring productions each season.

All performers should come prepared to perform an age appropriate monologue (not to exceed 1 minute), 16 measures of a musical theatre song and a short dance combination as taught by our choreographer. You must provide sheet music marked with your cuts - an accompanist will be
provided. All performers are required to submit a headshot (or clear photo) and a resume. If you do not have a monologue, please visit our website for a variety of audition readings. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled audition.

Auditions are by appointment only; there are a limited number of appointments available. To request your audition appointment, please email HCT's Associate Artistic Director Lauren Cavanaugh at lcavanaugh@hartfordchildrenstheatre.org or call 860.249.7970. For more
information and complete character descriptions, please visit our website: www.hartfordchildrenstheatre.org.

The mission of Hartford Children's Theatre is to enrich the lives of the children of Greater Hartford and surrounding communities by providing access and exposure to high quality theatre for young audiences and related educational opportunities. Executive Director Michael Kintner, Artistic Director Ryan Ratelle and Education Director Lisa Foss helm the organization.
