Goodspeed's HELLO, DOLLY! Adds 12 Performances; Begins 6/28

Goodspeed Musicals, the first two time Tony Award-winning theatre in the country, announced today that the wildly popular Hello, Dolly! has been extended and will now play to enthusiastic audiences for 12 additional performances. This beloved American musical will now run through September 14, 2013. Performances are Wednesdays at 2 and 7:30 p.m.; Thursdays at 2 and 7:30 p.m.; Fridays at 8 p.m.; Saturdays at 3 and 8 p.m.; and Sundays at 2 p.m.

Added performances are: Tuesdays, July 16 and 30 at 2 p.m.; Tuesdays August 13 and 27 at 2 p.m.; Tuesday September 10 at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept 11 at 2 and 7:30 p.m.; Thursday, Sept 12, at 2 and 7:30 p.m.; Friday, Sept 13, at 8 p.m.; and Saturday, Sept 14, at 2 and 6:30 p.m.

Hellooo Dolly! Well Hellooo Dolly! Join us when one of the greatest musicals ever written lights up the Goodspeed stage for the very first time. You'll grin from ear to ear as Dolly Levi meddles in many a person's affairs while at the same time seeking her own "half a millionaire." Jerry Herman's rousing score is bursting with joy and tunes like "Put On Your Sunday Clothes," "Before the Parade Passes By," and "It Only Takes a Moment." Sparkling, dazzling, delightful-one musical that you cannot miss!

Music and lyrics for Hello, Dolly! are written by Jerry Herman and the book is by Michael Stewart based on Thornton Wilder's The Matchmaker.
