Free Open Mic Nights Come to Playhouse On Park This Summer

Playhouse on Park closes its Ninth Season with Lin-Manuel Miranda's In The Heights, and what better way to celebrate this fabulous musical with two open mic nights during its run!? Come to Park Road and strut your stuff on our stage on Saturday, June 23 and Saturday, July 21, immediately following the evening performance of In The Heights (approximately 10:15pm).

Come to the show and stay or come on over just for open mic. Take the stage or sit back and cheer on those who are performing! Open mic nights are free and open to the public, and BYOB (tips for the pianist are encouraged). Bring your own sheet music or choose from ours; we'll provide an accompanist! The Saturday, July 21 Free Open Mic Night will be hosted by Peej Mele, who is known for his roles as Elf on the Shelf in Mama D's Outrageous Romp, and as Trekky/Nick in Avenue Q and Hunter in [title of show]!

Lin-Manuel Miranda's In The Heights runs through July 29. Individual tickets are now on sale, ranging from $40 to $50. Seniors, Students, and Let's Go Arts Member discounts are available.
