The Gospel According to Josh is a one man show, written by Joshua Rivedal that encompasses a
30 character, 12 song show, about a small town boy who follows his dreams to Hollywood
despite the tempestuous relationship with his pious father. Along the way he must navigate his
religious upbringing, and escape to New York, his starring roles in two reality TV shows, and
ultimately his father's tragic suicide. The Gospel According to Josh is directed by Brent Buell.
Other featured singers and poets performing include: Kate Rushin, Krystal Livingston, Sean
Mulroy, Ashley Adelman, and Camilla Ross. After Sunday's performance there will be a QPR (Question Persuade and Refer) Training Session, a technique that helps with suicide prevention and will be open to the public to attend. Funds raised will be used to educate patrons and community members about suicide, its devastating effects, and prevention.
