Leapin' Lizards! The Downtown Cabaret Children's Theatre production of Annie, Jr., an abbreviated version of Broadway's current production of Annie, takes audiences into the upcoming holiday season with its cabaret-style theatrical production especially for children of all ages and their families. Featured in the cast are Alanna Murphy as Annie and T. Sean Maher as Daddy Warbucks.

Annie, Jr. opens Sunday, November 10 and continues through Sunday, December 29 (2013) at the Downtown Cabaret Theatre located at 263 Golden Hill Street; Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Annie, Jr. with music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Martin Charnin and book by Thomas Meehan features the bright, tuneful score filled with such familiar songs as "It's the Hard Knock Life" and "Tomorrow."

With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts, despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous and magical world of New York City. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations and befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. She finds a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
