Comedy Night At Playhouse On Park Returns On March 31

Playhouse on Park continues its Season Nine Comedy Series, presented by Series Sponsor Shop Rite, on Saturday, March 31 at 8pm. Tickets are now on sale for the show featuring co-headliners Davin Rosenblatt and Jane Condon.

Davin Rosenblatt "is not your stereotypical mild-mannered Jewish comic. He is bold, full of confidence, and in complete control of the audience and the stage," raved one prominent New York Comedy Club manager. He is always in tune with whatever is going on in the room and often deviates from the "script" and engages in off the cuff, unscripted comedy which makes every show a unique experience. Davin's versatility enables him to perform in a vast variety of venues. He routinely works in destination resorts, private parties, major clubs, colleges, and corporate events. It is the constant work in the kaleidoscope of venues that makes him the chameleon of comedy. You may have seen him performing at New York Comedy Club, NY; Ha Comedy Club, NY; ; Many universities & colleges including Montclair State University, NJ; Cornell University, NY; Johnson & Wales University, RI; Prestigious festivals including New York Underground Comedy Festival, and the Toyota Comedy Festival. Davin was featured on Comedy Central's "Fresh Faces of Comedy" in 2003. He headlined a tour on Liberty Travel's Cruise Line, "The Regal Empress." Davin also excels in live radio. He hosts his own weekly radio show which has been carried by WTBQ in NY.

Comedian and mom Jane Condon lives in Greenwich, Connecticut, but she's still a nice person. She has two boys. Otherwise everything's fine. The Associated Press has dubbed her "an uppercrust Roseanne" and The New York Times says, "Condon had the audience cackling, guffawing and in hysterics as she sliced through marriage, husband, kids, politics and other topics." She loves to tell stories about her adventures (mostly survival tales) with her husband and kids. Condon was named one of 10 Comedy Best Bets in Back Stage's annual comedy issue. She has appeared on ABC-TV's "The View" and LIFETIME TV's "Girls' Night Out" and FOX-TV's series finale of "24." She won "Audience Favorite-New York" on NBC's "Last Comic Standing." She also won the nationwide Ladies of Laughter Contest and appears in theatres around the country with the Ladies of Laughter: Funny & Fabulous Tour.
