Comedians Announced for Comedy Night at Playhouse on Park
Playhouse on Park continues its Season Nine Comedy Series on Saturday, October 14. Tickets are now on sale for the show featuring co-headliners Jim Mendrinos and Carol Montgomery.
Inspired by his New York City roots and an eclectic collection of artists - including comics RoBert Klein, Richard Pryor and FrEddie Prinze, with traces of John Coltrane, Jack Kerouac and Beyond the Fringe thrown in for good measure, Jim blows right by the standard comedy fare. His act is a comedic exploration of emotional peaks and valleys challenging the audience to mine the topics with him. Starting at the age of 19, audiences everywhere have seen Jim grow up before their eyes, appreciating his unique outlook on life every step of the way. He is respected in the industry, so much so that he was asked to author "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Comedy Writing" (Alpha Press, © 2004.) Jim has brought his special brand of funny to Current TV, SiTV, Comedy Central, The Fox News Network, HBO and the BBC.
With over 2 dozen television credits to her name, Carole Montgomery is a respected veteran of the standup comedy scene nationwide. In addition to her numerous tv appearances, Carole has headlined clubs & colleges across the USA and starred in 2 different Las Vegas production shows. In addition to being a comedian and writer, Carole is a wife and mother and is currently dealing with an adult son leaving home, her Peter Pan husband, and living with her mother-in-law. The jokes write themselves.
