"Your Palace -- Your Place," the Palace Theater's radio show heard over WATR 1320 AM from 9:10 to 10 a.m. on the first and third Friday morning of each month, gives listeners a dose of pop culture, entertainment and more to start their day. Each show is a fast paced mix of celebrity interviews, theater news, foodie segments featuring local chefs and restaurateurs, and other special guests dropping by to dish on various topics of interest.

Guests scheduled for the December 4 show include Michael Dominick from Make-A-Wish CT, who will talk about the organization's annual "Believe" campaign; Food Network celebrity Chef Robert Irvine, who is bringing his live stage show to the Palace today, December 4; and a riff on the "Twelve Days of Christmas," called the Ten Days of Mangia featuring an unofficial review by freelance food writer Michele Morcey, who will dish on must-have holiday food and beverage treats from local eateries, as well as ways to combat the effects of overindulging.

The Palace's primary purpose is to revitalize the Greater Waterbury community through the presentation of the performing arts and educational initiatives in collaboration with area cultural and educational institutions. Its mission is to preserve and operate the historic Palace Theater as a performing arts center and community gathering place that provides a focal point of cultural activity and educational outreach for diverse audiences.
