Castle Craig Players Announce THE WINTER WONDERETTES ImageThe Wonderettes are back in town, just in time for the holidays! The Castle Craig Players will present "THE WINTER WONDERETTES" - the ALL-NEW holiday sequel to last year's sold-out hit - November 30-December 15, at their intimate cabaret venue.

Missy, Suzy, Betty Jean, and Cindy Lou help ring in the season with the follow-up to the smash hit "THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES". This holiday sequel finds the girls returning to their hometown for Betty Jean's company Christmas party. When Santa turns up missing, the girls must use their talent and creative ingenuity, plus some great holiday tunes, to save the celebration. Featuring great '60s versions of holiday classics such as "Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town," "Jingle Bell Rock," "Run, Rudolph, Run," "Santa Baby" and "Winter Wonderland," the result is, of course, marvelous! This energetic and glittering holiday package is guaranteed to delight audiences of all ages.

This production reunites the cast of last year's show, which includes Emma Czaplinski (Missy), Chelsea Dacey (Suzy), Jennifer Del Sole (Cindy Lou) and Jessica Engster (Betty Jean). Director Ian Galligan returns as well, and notes that even if you missed the original incarnation of the show, never fear - you'll have no trouble getting caught up!

"It's an extremely rare treat, creatively speaking, for the girls and I to get to revisit these characters that we grew to love so much, and see where life has taken them after the curtain fell on the original show," Galligan said. "You don't usually get that opportunity!"

The creative team includes Chris Coffey (Music Director), Chelsea Dacey (Choreographer), Oliver Kochol (Assistant Director/Stage Manager) and Dusty Radar (Lighting Designer).

"THE WINTER WONDERETTES" runs for three weeks only - November 30-December 15 (Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30pm, Sundays at 2:00pm, with a special Thursday performance on December 6 at 7:30pm) at The Almira F. Stephan Memorial Playhouse, 59 West Main Street, Meriden, CT. Presented Cabaret Style with table seating, patrons are invited to bring their own dinner, drinks and snacks to enjoy!

Tickets are $25 for Adults and $20 for Seniors (65+). Seating is extremely limited - so patrons are encouraged to buy in advance! Tickets may be purchased online at www.CastleCraig.org or over the phone by calling toll-free 1-800-838-3006.
