BWW Interview: Brian Noonan of THE JERSEY TENORS at Ridgefield Playhouse

Prepare for classic rock to collide with opera in refreshingly new brilliant arrangements at the Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, September 22 at 8:00 PM when a male quartet called THE JERSEY TENORS take the stage with a live band!

On Friday, August 31, I had the pleasure of speaking with Brian Noonan who co-founded the company about eleven years ago. He is presently the creative director and one of the four Jersey Tenors scheduled to appear at the Ridgefield Playhouse. The more he told me about the show, the more I'm looking forward to seeing it!

The audience can expect a unique blend of opera classics mixed in with songs originally by Queen, Billy Joel, Elton John, Journey, The Beach Boys, and more. Throw in songs of some New Jersey legends like Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Frank Sinatra, Kool & The Gang, Whitney Houston and of course, the Four Seasons, and you can expect all audience members to find something they can connect with and appreciate.

While Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody," is influential and a number likely to be performed, THE JERSEY TENORS specialize in their unique arrangements of previously existing material.

This is not merely a concert, but an actual theatrical performance. Beyond the music, there is a two act storyline, moved forward by the music, focused on the Jersey wiseguys personalities. The fourth wall gets broken as the audience becomes more than merely engaged, but directly involved! This shows promise of being a fun show for all involved.

THE JERSEY TENORS is scheduled at the Ridgefield Playhouse for one night only, September 22, at 8:00 PM. Tickets are likely to sell quickly, so get yours now at while they are still available!
